About

Juan Escalada

Software engineer working on developer tooling and open-source infrastructure.

This is my working log. Most days I publish what I actually did — the bug I chased, the fix that worked, the dead ends I'd rather you skip. It's less a polished tutorial site and more a paper trail of building real software in public.

What I'm building

Most entries are about GitProxy. An open-source proxy for git that lets organisations add policies, approvals and audit to their git push flow. If a post helped you get unstuck, the best thank-you is a star on the repo.

Why write it down

Future-me forgets. The fix that took three hours to find takes thirty seconds to re-read. And if you arrived here from a search for the same error message — good, that's exactly who these notes are for.
